Sorry, I assume incorrectly that everyone is as immersed in computer
geekdom as I am. RSS or Atom feeds are lists of -- for example -- blog
or news articles. A feed reader allows you to view the feeds and a
feed aggregator allows you to view several of them (by "aggregating"
them).

Let's say you like to read news articles from the BBC, CNN, and NPR.
Prior to feed technology you'd have to visit each website. But an RSS
aggregator will pull the feeds from all of them into one place.

Blogger is the blogging tool that Bll uses for his trumpet tips. It
supports Atom feeds and I added his blog to my feed aggregator.
